Rehman Medical College starts functioning
Peshawar: The private sector Rehman Medical College (RMC) in Peshawar has started functioning. The inaugural-cum-welcome ceremony for the first year MBBS students was conducted in the college on Monday. Prof Dr Tariq Nishtar, Prof Emeritus at the Peshawar University and a former secretary health and notable physician, was the chief guest.
Dr Tariq Nishtar appreciated the achievements of the Rahman Medical Institute and hoped that the new college would produce high quality doctors to serve the community.The RMC Principal Prof Tariq Saeed Mufti praised all the stakeholders including the faculty and administration for making it possible to commission the medical college.
The Rehman Medical Institute Hospital is already providing state-of-the art therapy services in a variety of disciplines and is serving a large population. Meanwhile, the RMI founder Prof Dr Mohammad Rehman in his message hoped the RMC would come up to the expectations of the medical profession in training medical students. The news
