The 65th meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held here on Thursday with Vice Chancellor Prof IA Naveed in the chair.


According to a press release, the board considered the thesis reports of Dr. Salman Idrees for M.Phil (Biochemistry), Dr. Muhammad Jawad Anwar for M.Phil (Chemical Pathology), Dr. Malik Shahid Shoukat for M.Phil (Community Medicine), Dr. Muhammad Tahir Saeed for M.Phil (Haematology), Dr. Ehsan Ullah for M.Phil (Morbid Anatomy & Histopathology), Dr. Muhammad Usman Shams for M.Phil (Morbid Anatomy & Histopathology), Dr. Sana Mahmood Qureshi for M.Phil (Oral Pathology), Dr. Asad Mahmood Khan for M.Phil (Pharmacology), Dr. Rubina Iqbal for M.Phil (Pharmacology), Dr. Aamir Nazir for M.Phil (Physiology) and Dr. Shazia Naz for MDS (Operative Dentistry). The board approved the panels of examiners for the evaluation of theses submitted by Dr. Samina Khokhar Ph.D. Scholar, Dr. Nazish Mahmood Aisha M.Phil (Biochemistry), Mr. Muhammad Yasir M.Phil (Microbiology), Dr. Khalida Ahtesham M.Phil (Morbid Anatomy & Histopathology), Dr. Hassan Mujtaba M.Phil (Oral Pathology), Dr. Syeda Ijlal Zehra Zaidi M.Phil (Physiology), Dr. Uzair Mumtaz M.Phil (Physiology) and Dr. Ali Haider M.S.
