BSEK approves Rs 412.4 million surplus budget
Karachi: The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has approved Rs 412.4 million ‘surplus budget’ for the fiscal year 2011-12 with an expenditure outlay of Rs 411.6 million. The budget was approved in the Board of Governors meeting of BSEK, held here on Tuesday at the committee room of board office. The meeting was presided over by Chairman BSEK Syed Anzar Husain Zaidi. Chairman Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai, Chairman Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) Prof M Saeed Siddqui, Chairman Sukkur Board Syed Ali Shah Bukhari, Chairman Mirpurkhas Board Shafiq Ahmed Khan, Executive District Officer Education Karachi Mohammad Ibrahim Khumbher, Saba Masood of Economics Department, University of Karachi, Additional Secretary Governor House Kamran Shamshad, member Board Yahya Khan and BSEK Secretary Hoor Mazhar were present in the meeting. All members of the governing body approved the surplus budget 2011-12 of BSEK. The meeting also decided that the board will not increase any fees while it also approved 15 percent increase in the salaries of board employees as per the announcement of the government. ppi
