the news publish THE King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore, has allocated Rs 45 million for upgrade of Pathology Department and establishment of KEMU Diagnostic Centres in different parts of the provincial metropolis.

The decision was approved in the 13th meeting of Syndicate King Edward Medical University (KEMU), Lahore, held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Asad Aslam Khan here in the Academic Council on Saturday.

The Syndicate also approved the annual budget for the year 2011-2012 with a total outlay of Rs 948.874 million, developmental and non-developmental expenditures. It also approved allocation of Rs 39 million for new KEMU building and construction of Animal House. The Syndicate also approved Rs 30 million to be allocated for research for the year 2011-2012.The news.
