To him, people at both sides of border, had relations, emotions and respect for each other but on various occasions, some harsh realities and governments diverted them to a direction where they had to follow the trend of hatred. His artwork also expressed a kind of fragility. Talking to Daily Times, Jamal said that he attempted to portray the mixed contrary emotions of hate and love, respect and disrespect, peace and war. According to him, the emotions of people were same on both sides of the border. He was of the view that positive or negative, people of both countries had some very strong relations and emotions for each other. The exhibition will continue till Jan 29. asad farooq
