Lahore, Sep 02: Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that members of the Punjab Youth Council have been inducted for conducting a survey of flood affectees, therefore, they should take active part in a transparent survey and work for relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees.
He said that dates of various examinations and admissions to colleges and universities had been extended due to flood in the province so that students of flood-hit districts did not face any difficulty.
He was presiding over a meeting held to review the role of members of the Punjab Youth Council in the process of survey and relief and rehabilitation of flood affectees here on Wednesday.
CM’s Senior Advisor Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa, MNAs Khawaja Saad Rafique, Mian Marghoob Ahmad, Pervaiz Malik, Special Assistant Raja Ashfaq Sarwar, Khawaja Ahmad Hasaan, secretaries of Higher Education and Schools, Provincial Disaster Management Authority director general and Punjab Youth Council chairman attended the meeting.
