Karachi The Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) announced on Sunday that the last date for submission of admission forms has been extended till November 16.
The entry test for admission in six disciplines of the university would be held on November 20, at the expo Centre and more than 3, 500 candidates are expected to appear in the test.
Meanwhile, interviews would take place at the university campus from November 21 to November 25, for which 22 committees have been formed, a spokesperson pak study of SSUET said on Sunday.
The admission process for 2012 at the SSUET was reviewed under the chairmanship of the University’s Chancellor Z.A. Nizami, who directed to take measures and necessary action for holding admission test in a peaceful and pleasant environment, he said.
He added that some 4, 039 candidates have obtained prospectus and 2, 800 applications have been received and processed for admission in six disciplines of the university, including Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Science.
The chancellor directed the registrar and director planning to make necessary arrangements for holding of the test at the Expo Centre and interviews at the SSUET. The meeting was informed that the number of admission seekers this year is likely to cross last year’s figure of over 3,800, he added.The news.
