FCCU, traffic police educate students seminar organized by Forman Christian College-University (FCCU)
Lahore – Students were educated on the significance of wearing helmets and following traffic rules on Wednesday at a seminar organized by Forman Christian College-University (FCCU)in collaboration with the City Traffic Police. FCCU Director of Safety & Security Col Rana Khaqan Mahmood said improvements in traffic situations will occur only with the involvement of the youth as well as the regulatory authorities. He said this improvement requires the efforts of all segments of society, including educational institutions.

Seminar on traffic literacy of college students held

LAHORE: Students were briefed about the use of helmets and importance of following traffic rules at a special seminar organised by FC College University (FCCU) on Wednesday in collaboration with the City Traffic Police.
FCCU Director of Safety and Security Col (r) Rana Khaqan Mahmood said improvement in traffic situation called for involving the youth in tackling the problem, as much as it requires steps by the regulatory authorities.
“Improving traffic on roads requires efforts by all segments of society, including educational institutions,” he added.
The seminar started with a lecture by traffic police inspector Saeed Azeem who dilated on the various rules even experienced drivers usually overlook. Visuals were also shown through multimedia for a better understanding of the issue.
Mobile vans of the traffic police issued preliminary driving licences to students all day long as an initiative to promote the trend of acquiring licences. daily times
