Lahore Development Authority (LDA) complete bans political activity in its education institutes
LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Abdul Jabbar Shaheen on Friday imposed a complete ban on political activities in the educational institutions being run by LDA, under Clause 3(H) of the Punjab Industrial Relations Act 2010.
All the academic as well as the administrative staff has been directed to refrain from participating in any such activity that pertains to formation of unions, becoming an office bearer, casting a vote in the referendum, holding meetings and bringing out processions.
Failing to comply with these instructions will invoke action against the official concerned under the Punjab Employees Efficiency and Discipline Act 2006 and stern action will be taken against those guilty of indiscipline.
