Islamabad: Pakistan Technology Council Chairman Professor Javed Iqbal has said that in future B-Tech (Hons) will be designated as Engineering Technologist and B-Tech (Pass) will be designated as Associate Engineering Technologist, says a press release.
He said that the decision to this effect was made at a meeting attended by the vice chancellors of all universities, executive director HEC, representatives of PEC, representatives of industries from private sector, representatives of MOST and two participants from B-Tech graduates.
He said that the decision of DAE was postponed and it was suggested that the case should be handled by TEVETA, because this not the proper forum to discuss. “We hope the registration process of B-Tech graduates will start soon. In order to get more information all graduates should keep close liaison with the office of Pakistan Council of Technologists, Islamabad.
