Summer vacation: Notices to schools for flouting govt order
Lahore: The education department on Thursday issued show-cause notices to 35 private schools in the city for not complying with its order regarding extended summer vacation.
The department had allowed the private schools to only hold V, VIII, IX and X classes for preparation of board examinations. Since the government’s check is not affective, there are reports that some private schools continue to flout the official order.
An education department official said show-cause notices had been issued to 35 institutions. He said the schools ignoring the notices would be dealt with sternly.
According to the order, the schools both public and private will open on Sept 15.

Is it applicable for Rawalpindi schools also? what is the compliant number on which we can complain against the schools that are still open in Rawalpindi?

Syed Public High School for Boys / Girls (Bedian Road, Lahore cant) is challenging the government order about extended summer vacation.
Being a citizen of Pakistan, I am feeling very sorry that there is no writ of Government Orders in many departments. Currently, these are the private schools those have been notified that Summer vacation are extended till September 15th. But most of the school are still open in cantonment and other areas of Lahore. Syed Public High School for boys / girls located at Bedian Road in Lahore Cant. Is opening for the students by September 1st, disobeying the government order. Being one of the parents I know why it is happening so. THIS IS JUST BECAUSE TO COLLECT THE FEES FROM STUDENTS. Government should sent more notices to and take action against such schools especially to Syed Public High School for boys / girls located at Bedian Road in Lahore Cant, Lahore. Besides government order, the other reason for schools to remain close is the Holy month of Ramzan. If government don’t take any notice of this, these schools will collect the fine from the students at the rate of Rs. 10 to 50 per day for 15 days, and this fine Is eventually for us (the parents). So, Government should take action against such schools.
