PU PR director quits

Lahore: Punjab University’s Director of Public Relations (DPR) Khawaja Tahir Jamil resigned on Tuesday. It is learnt that he resigned as a protest against unfair treatment meted out to him by some officials of the varsity administration. However, Khawaja Tahir denied any such situation, saying that he was unable to perform his duties owing to some family engagements; therefore, he had resigned. It is learnt that Honorary Advisor to the PU Vice Chancellor, Col (Retd) Ikram Ullah has been assigned the duties to look after office of the DPR.
