Students anxiously wait for result of CSS written exam
ISLAMABAD Candidates of Central Superior Service (CSS) 2011 are anxiously waiting for the result of written exams held in the month of February, which has been delayed by Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) citing various reasons.
The result was supposed to be declared in the month of October so that the students, who could not manage to pass this year, can prepare again to avail next chance.
“I appeared in the CSS exams on wish of my father but I am very much disappointed about my future due to delay in the result”, a CSS candidate Shireen said.
“It was my first attempt and if I could not qualify this time, there will be no time for preparation to appear in the exams again in February 2012”, Shireen added.
Another candidate Sajid said, “I check the website of FPSC daily but it has not displayed anything regarding result. Waiting for eight months only for the result of written exams is troublesome”.
The result is now expected in the month of December and the last date for submitting forms for next attempt is December 31 so how could one make his or her mind for next attempt, he said.
“My parents are also in stress due to delay in the result as my whole future depends on it”, CSS candidate Shumaila said. The candidates who have to reappear in the exams do not know which subjects need further concentration, she added.
The officials of FPSC claimed that the result would be compiled in the month of November and announced now they are saying that it would take some more time.
CSS Director Muhammad Ali said that “we are not sure that either the examiners will be able to compile the results till end of November or not”. app ((dailytimes-23-11-2011))
