Two-year age relaxation for NIP approved
Islamabad: The National Assembly Standing Committee on Youth Affairs in a recent meeting approved two years age relaxation for the youth for National Internship Programme (NIP).
The committee met here at the Parliament House to get a briefing on the National Internship Programme (NIP), Youth Exchange Programmes and others youth related issues.
Now the youth with age 28 will be able to participate in the NIP. The committee also approved the proposal of NIP for two-year duration.
It also directed the Ministry of Youth Affairs to ensure transparency in the International Youth Exchange Programme.
The committee further directed the ministry to utilise the available youth data in the upcoming youth exchange programme. The committee said that it is essential to provide equal opportunities to the youth.
