THE University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced result of Second Professional BDS annual examination. A press release here on Thursday said 424 candidates from nine affiliated dental colleges appeared in the exam out of which 233 passed and 184 failed. The result of seven candidates was put on RL list. The pass percentage remained 55.88.

Nayha Enver, a daughter pf Tariq Enver of de Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore got first position securing 840/1000 marks. Eesha Najam daughter of Najam Saeed of Institute of Dentistry, CMH Lahore Medical College and Sarah Ashraf daughter of Muhammad Ashraf of de Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore got second and third positions securing 822/1000 and 814/1000 marks respectively.

UHS announces BDS exam results

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has announced the results of Second Professional BDS annual examination on Thursday.

According to details, a total of 424 candidates from nine affiliated dental colleges appeared in the exam out of which 233 passed and 184 failed. Results of seven candidates were put on result late (RL) list. The pass percentage remained 55.88.

Nayha Enver of de’Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore got the first position by securing 840marks out of 1000.

Eesha Najam of the Institute of Dentistry, CMH Lahore Medical College, and Sarah Ashraf of de’Montmorency College of Dentistry Lahore got second and third positions by securing 822 and 814 marks, respectively. Supplementary exams will commence on February 16.

The 61st meeting of Advanced Studies and Research Board of the University of Health Sciences (UHS) was held on Thursday with Vice Chancellor Prof Malik H Mubashar in the chair.

The board approved the panels of examiners for the evaluation of theses submitted by Dr Syed Mujahid Akbar Mamoun MPhil (Anatomy), Nadia Rashid MPhil (Biochemistry), Dr Muhammad Asif MPhil (Chemical Pathology), Dr Muhammad Tahir Saeed MPhil (Haematology), Dr Alia Batool MPhil (Microbiology), Dr Muhammad Shahbaz Hussain MPhil (Microbiology), Dr Atika Masood MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Munazza Chaudhary MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Muhammad Usman Shams MPhil (Morbid Anatomy and Histopathology), Dr Mazhar Hussain MPhil (Pharmacology) and Dr Muhammad Amer Saeed MD (Cardiology). staff report dailytimes
