UHS uploads entrance test answer key on website Lahore, July 22: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Wednesday uploaded the answer key of the entrance test for admission to medical and dental colleges of Punjab on its website.
UHS Vice-Chancellor Prof Husain Mubashar Malik said the answer key had been released for the candidates, enabling them to calculate their score on the carbon copy of the response form with the help of the answer key.
“The UHS has uploaded the answer key on its website to facilitate the candidates appeared in entrance test for 2010-11 to get correct results,” Prof Malik said.
Around 32,000 candidates took the entrance test for admission to medical and dental colleges of Punjab on Tuesday.
About the A-level candidates’ claims that some questions were out of course, the UHS vice-chancellor said that release of answer key to entrance test had dispelled the impression that the examination process had flaws.

Medical college entry test on August 8 Peshawar, July 10: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar has announced schedule for Entry Test 2010 for admissions in the public and private sector medical colleges of the province.
The schedule was announced after a meeting chaired by KMU vice-chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Hafizullah. Principals of all the government-run and private medical and dental colleges from across the province attended the meeting.
This is for the first time that the entry test would be conducted by the Khyber Medical University. Earlier it used to be organized by the Entry Testing and Evaluation Authority (EATA). The test would be held on August 8 simultaneously at Karnal Sher Khan Stadium, Peshawar and Ayub Medical College (AMC), Abbottabad.
Application forms will be issued from July 19 and could be submitted from July 21 to August 1 at Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IPM&R), Hayatabad Peshawar and AMC, Abbottabad. The entry test forms and admit cards will be available for Rs1,000 at the prescribed branches of National Bank of Pakistan in various cities of the province.

Entry test as per previous policy Peshawar, June 08: The Higher Education Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Monday notified that as per previous policy entry test conducted by Education Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETEA) for admission to professional colleges was restricted to Engineering University and Medical and Dental Colleges functioning in public sector. The professional colleges (engineering, medical, dental) functioning in private sector were conducting their own test for this purpose, the notification added.
